Conservación y rehabilitación del Centro Histórico Urbano de la ciudad de Sancti Spíritus

Resumen
Las ciudades históricas representan una parte esencial de nuestro patrimonio universal,
logrando la unidad entre lo antiguo y lo nuevo para lograr una nueva composición
armoniosa de arquitecturas complementarias, revitalizando el legado del pasado.
En el presente trabajo se sintetizan experiencias acumuladas a nivel nacional e
internacional, en materia de rehabilitación y refuncionalización, en centros históricos
comprometidos, consideradas para una nueva propuesta, que tenga como fin su
valoración y conservación, para poder ser trasmitido a futuras generaciones.
Se realiza un estudio del conector A, integrado por las calles Independencia(Boulevard),
Ernesto Valdés Muñoz, Honorato del Castillo, pasando por la Iglesia Mayor y la
intersección entre Máximo Gómez, Quintín Banderas y Agramonte (Oeste)) ubicado en
el centro histórico de la ciudad de Sancti Spíritus; realizado mediante un análisis y
diagnósticos de las diferentes variantes por subsistemas, reflejados en planos, que
muestran las problemáticas y potencialidades presentes del conector en la actualidad.
Basado en la investigación y la documentación técnica pertinente, se propuso las líneas
estratégicas, criterios de diseño y concepto que rige la propuesta de una senda
reanimada de forma integral; rehabilitando la imagen urbana del contexto en estudio y
refuncionalizando inmuebles para el desarrollo de un recorrido turístico-comercial, que
contribuya a la economía local y sea sustentable para la ciudad.
The historic cities represent an essential part of our universal patrimony, obtaining the unity among the old and the new to reach a new harmonious composition of complementary architectures, revitalizing the legacy of the past. On the current diploma work is synthesized accumulated experiences both national and international, on the subject of the rehabilitation and the refuncionalization, in commited historic centers, considered for a new proposal that possesses as a goal the evaluation and the conservation, in pursuit of to be transmitted to the future generations. It was make an study of the connector A composed by the Independence st. (Boulevard), Ernesto Valdés Muñoz st.,Honorato del Castillo st., passing by the Major Church and the intersection between Máximo Gómez st., Quintín Banderas st. and Agramonte st. (West) located in the historic center of the city of Sancti-Spiritus; realized by means of an analysis and diagnoses of the different variants by subsystems, reflected on flats, that show the problematicals and the potentialitis of the connector nowadays. Based on the investigations and the pertinent technical documentation, it were proposed the strategic lines of duty, the design canons and a concept that rules the proposal of a reactivated pathway in an integral way, rehabilitating the urban image of the context on study and refuncionalizating estates for the development of a commercial-tourist itinerary, that contributes to the local economy and at the same time the necessity of that itinerary to be sustainable for the city
