Resumen
El presente trabajo de diploma se desarrolló en el aeropuerto internacional “Abel
Santamaría Cuadrado” de la ciudad de Santa Clara, provincia Villa Clara, que
tiene como principal función prestar servicios aeroportuarios a aeronaves y
pasajeros. La tesis resume los resultados de la investigación que abordó como
problema fundamental la inexistencia de un instrumento que permita analizar
estratégicamente la situación de las operaciones aeroportuarias en la entidad
objeto de estudio, con vistas a mejorar la efectividad en la toma de decisiones. En
su contenido, muestra primeramente el marco teórico-referencial de la
investigación con énfasis en los procedimientos brindados por diversos autores
para diagnosticar y estudiar la gestión de operaciones. Como solución al problema
de investigación planteado se expone el análisis estratégico adaptado a las
particularidades y características del sistema aeroportuario, de forma tal que
permita erradicar las dificultades y restricciones detectadas relacionadas con la
gestión de operaciones aeroportuarias, lo que constituye el principal aporte de la
investigación y una herramienta efectiva en el proceso decisional. Con el objetivo
de facilitar el entendimiento de la tesis se anexan tablas y gráficos con un conjunto
de informaciones, además se logra un adecuado y ordenado uso de la bibliografía
consultada a través del empleo del gestor de referencias bibliográficas EndNote.
The present diploma work was developed in the international airport "Abel Santamaría Cuadrado" in the city of Santa Clara, Villa Clara province, whose main function is to provide airport services to aircraft and passengers. The thesis summarizes the results of the research that addressed as a fundamental problem the inexistence of an instrument that allows to strategically analyze the situation of airport operations in the entity under study, with a view to improving the effectiveness in decision making. In its content, it first shows the theoreticalreferential framework of the research with emphasis on the procedures provided by various authors to diagnose and study the management of operations. As a solution to the research problem, the strategic analysis adapted to the particularities and characteristics of the airport system is presented, in such a way as to eradicate the difficulties and restrictions detected related to the management of airport operations, which constitutes the main contribution of the research and an effective tool in the decision process. In order to facilitate the understanding of the thesis, tables and graphs are attached with a set of information, and an adequate and orderly use of the bibliography consulted through the use of the EndNote bibliographic reference manager is achieved.
