Resumen
El estudio de la Educación Ambiental para el Desarrollo Sostenible constituye eje
esencial en el sistema educativo cubano, a pesar del trabajo que se viene realizando
desde hace varios años aún persisten carencias en el mismo. En los estudiantes del
Instituto Preuniversitario Urbano “Miguel Diosdado Pérez Pimentel” también se
aprecian carencias de hábitos, habilidades, valores y actitudes para el cuidado y
protección del medio ambiente. La presente investigación contribuye al conocimiento
de las problemáticas medioambientales a partir de una propuesta de actividades para
el desarrollo de la Sociedad Científica relacionada con esta temática. Se aplicaron
varios métodos de investigación tanto del orden teórico como empíricos y
matemáticos. La propuesta de actividades fue valorada por el criterio de evaluadores
externos, los cuales consideran de pertinente, actual y que poseen calidad. Los
resultados obtenidos con la implementación de la propuesta evidencian la efectividad
de la misma.
The study of Environmental Education for Sustainable Development is an essential axis in the Cuban educational system, despite the work that has been done for several years still lacking in it. In the students of the Urban Pre-University Institute "Miguel Diosdado Pérez Pimentel" there is also shortages of habits, skills, values and attitudes for the care and protection of the environment. The present research contributes to the knowledge of the environmental problems from a proposal of activities for the development of the Scientific Society related to this subject. Several research methods were applied, both theoretical and empirical and mathematical. The proposed activities were assessed by the criteria of external evaluators, which they consider pertinent, current and have quality. The results obtained with the implementation of the proposal show the effectiveness of it.
