Análisis energético en edificios administrativos de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas

Resumen
En el presente trabajo se evalúa el desempeño energético del rectorado, la biblioteca central y el teatro de la Universidad Central “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas a través de un monitoreo en tiempo real. Se realiza un diagnóstico energético para identificar los usos significativos de la energía y los principales potenciales de ahorro.
Los datos de consumo de energía eléctrica recopilados muestran las tendencias de la demanda energética de cada uno de los edificios estudiados, resaltando como uno de los mayores consumidores el rectorado con un promedio semanal de consumo de 922 kWh. El teatro universitario es otra instalación altamente consumidora ya que una hora de festival de artistas aficionados consume 105 kWh y el festival completo 427 kWh, lo que se demuestra en los gráficos elaborados. El edificio de la biblioteca, de los tres edificios estudiados, resulta la de menor consumo aportando un 1,4 % del total consumido en el circuito Planta Piloto.
Se analiza la implementación del sistema de gestión energética en esta institución. El cumplimiento de los requisitos de la NC ISO 50001 es examinado con vistas a una futura certificación, proponiéndose recomendaciones encaminadas al logro de un eficiente uso de la energía en esta entidad.
In the present work, the energetic performance of the rectorship, the central library and the theater of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas is evaluated through a real time monitoring. An energy diagnosis is made to identify the significant uses of energy and the main savings potentials. The collected data on electricity consumption show trends in the energy demand of each of the buildings studied, highlighting as one of the largest consumers the rectory with a weekly average consumption of 922 kWh. The university theater is another highly consuming installation, since one hour of festival of amateur artists consumes 105 kWh and the entire festival 427 kWh, which is demonstrated in the elaborated graphics. The building of the library, of the three buildings studied, is the one with the lowest consumption, contributing 1.4% of the total consumed in the Pilot Plant circuit. The implementation of the energy management system in this institution is analyzed. Compliance with the requirements of ISO 50001 is examined for future certification, proposing recommendations aimed at achieving an efficient use of energy in this entity.
