Pinch method for the integration process has been developed in recent years, with the aim of reducing operational costs and the total chemical industry processes. The main objective of these tools for this work has been the realignment of the network of heat exchange in the atmospheric distillation of Section-100, with the aim of achieving an improvement in the distribution of energy in the process. In the work carried out an energy analysis in the area of atmospheric distillation, as stated above the method is based on Pinch Technology, which was used in the analysis of the heating system of the Venezuelan crude to the terms of the original design and currently analyzing alternatives to being a powerful tool for integration of processes. The results make possible a simple change in the operation of the network, which provides a fuel savings of 33% of what is consumed at present. Through the network of heat exchange is accomplished by reducing the proposed consumption of ancillary services that have a positive influence on the costs of the process. It also describes a strategy of allowing the user to work the Aspen Pinch apply to any process in a simple and allowing it to exploit the full potential it offers us the software.
