Aplicación Web para potenciar habilidades comunicativas para la comunicación científica oral en los profesionales universitarios

Resumen
A través de la evolución de la tecnología, el mundo ha dado pasos agigantados tanto en la ciencia como en la vida de cada ser humano. Resultado de esta revolución tecnológica son las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones gran apoyo al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. En la Universidad Central «Marta Abreu» de Las Villas (UCLV) existen dificultades en la comunicación científica oral de los profesionales cuando muestran los resultados de sus investigaciones y se carece de medios que los ayuden a potenciar sus habilidades comunicativas en la comunicación científica oral. En este trabajo se crea una aplicación Web para potenciar esas habilidades en los profesionales e investigadores de la UCLV. Para el diseño de esta aplicación se usaron los lenguajes PHP y JavaScript; CSS; Apache como servidor Web; y el Sistema Gestor de Bases de Datos MySQL. Se utilizó Joomla como ambiente de desarrollo al cual se le adicionaron módulos con los que no se contaba para soportar algunas funcionalidades como por ejemplo: carga y descarga de archivos; además se presentan videoconferencias en el sitio. Esta aplicación debe mejorar la eficiencia y eficacia en el logro de las habilidades señaladas.
Through the evolution of the technology, the world has gone forward both in science and in life of every human being. The technologies of the information and communication give a big support to the process of education and learning as a result of this technological revolution. There exist difficulties in the scientific oral communication of the professionals at the Universidad Central «Marta Abreu» de Las Villas (UCLV) when they show the results of their research work and there is a lack of means to help upgrading his communicative skills in the scientific oral communication. In this work a Web application to upgrade these skills in the professionals and researchers at the UCLV is created. The Joomla Content Management System was used as development environment in which some new modules were added in order to support a number of functionalities as file download and upload and videoconferences screening.
