Resumen
El entorno en que operan las organizaciones ha evolucionado con un alto grado de
dinamismo y complejidad de acuerdo con el desarrollo de la sociedad actual, las que
para mantenerse, desarrollarse y acrecentar su competitividad, tienen que potenciar
con eficiencia y visión de futuro, el capital tangible e intangible que poseen.
En correspondencia con lo anterior, la presente Tesis aborda el problema de la gestión
del capital relacional en el sector biotecnológico cubano con el objetivo de elaborar un
procedimiento general para la gestión del mismo, con carácter proactivo y holístico que
garantiza la mejora continúa del proceso en el sector biotecnológico.
El documento de la Tesis incluye un estudio bibliográfico, en función de elaborar el
marco teórico o referencial, el cual contiene los principales conceptos y características
esenciales de la competitividad para la organización, así como el análisis del capital
intelectual, con particularidad en el capital relacional como fuente de competitividad.
En el contenido se aborda además, una caracterización general de la biotecnología
cubana desde sus inicios y su actual desarrollo, así como los principales logros
obtenidos por esta, partiendo del análisis de la economía cubana y de la significación
creciente del sector biotecnológico en la misma. Profundizando en los principales
centros de investigación del país, entre ellos el Instituto de Biotecnología de las
Plantas (IBP) y las limitaciones fundamentales en el proceso de gestión objeto de
estudio.
Se expone un procedimiento general para la gestión del capital relacional,
caracterizando sus etapas así como las técnicas utilizadas, el cual es validado
mediante técnicas que toman en cuenta el estadío actual de la investigación,
esbozando además las líneas fundamentales que deben ser desarrolladas a fin de dar
continuidad a la misma.

In correspondence with the above-mentioned, the present Thesis approaches the problem of the administration of the capital relational in the Cuban biotechnical sector with the objective of elaborating a general procedure for the administration of the same one, with character proactivo and holistic that guarantees the improvement it continues of the process in the biotechnical sector. The document of the Thesis includes a bibliographical study, in function of elaborating the theoretical mark or referencial, which contains the main concepts and essential characteristics of the competitiveness for the organization, as well as the analysis of the intellectual capital, with particularity in the capital relacional like source of competitiveness. In the content it is also approached, a general characterization of the Cuban biotechnology from their beginnings and their current development, as well as the main achievements obtained by this, leaving of the analysis of the Cuban economy and of the growing significance of the biotechnical sector in the same one. Deepening in the main centers of investigation of the country, among them the Institute of Biotechnology of the Plants (IBP) and the fundamental limitations in the process of administration study object. A general procedure is exposed for the administration of the capital relational, characterizing its stages as well as the used techniques, which is validated by means of techniques that take into account the current estadío of the investigation, also sketching the fundamental lines that should be developed in order to give continuity to the same one.
