Propuesta de ideas conceptuales para la Rehabilitación del Museo de Artes Decorativas de Cienfuegos

En el presente trabajo se pretende rehabilitar el edificio, hoy, P.C.C. Municipal de Cienfuegos, ubicado en el Centro Histórico declarado patrimonio Cultural de la Ciudad, con solución de diseño para Museo de Artes Decorativas como programa arquitectónico. Para dar cumplimiento al objetivo trazado se realizaron estudios detallados a la edificación, se elaboró un programa e idea conceptual para las bases de diseño obtenidas en el alcance y contenido y se estudiaron las normas y regulaciones vigentes. Para esto, se abordó la propuesta de concepción de un museo de 100 plazas con 2 niveles y una terraza en la cubierta para la ciudad de Cienfuegos ubicado en la Avenida 56 no. 3311 entre las calles 33 y 35 San Carlos entre Hourrutier y Gazel.
Dados los aconteceres en la cultura cienfueguera el museo ha estado presente desde el año 1832, luego con el triunfo de la revolución y la creación de la Ley 23 los museos son fomentados por toda Cuba.
Por esto el rescate de esta antigua vivienda y luego telégrafo, que fue propiedad del afamado comerciante Don Laureano Falla Gutiérrez hoy PCC. Municipal, para dotar a la ciudad de un museo único de su tipo en la provincia, se potenciarán los valores arquitectónicos y urbanísticos de la zona cumpliendo con las normas y regulaciones vigentes en el diseño de Rehabilitación y Nueva Obra de un museo de Artes Decorativas contemporáneo para la población. Para esto se realizó un análisis del repertorio de museos en el mundo y de la normativa vigente para los mismos, así como también el rescate de la planimetría y fachadas principales dados los valores que presentan.
This research paper is intended to restore the building, what is now the P.C.C Municipal (Spanish abbreviation that stands for Municipal Communist Party) of Cienfuegos, located in the Old Town declared World Cultural Heritage, with the solution of a design for a Decorative Arts Museum as an architectural program. To carry out the outlined aim, some detailed studies to the building were carried out; a program and a conceptual idea were drawn up for the bases of the design obtained within the reach and content; and the rules and regulations currently in force were studied. This research dealt with the proposal in Cienfuegos of the conception of a museum of 100 seats with 2 floors and a terrace in the roof, located at 3311 between 33 Street and 35 Street in 56 Ave. Due to the cultural events in Cienfuegos, the museum has been present since 1832. After the triumph of the Revolution and the imposition of Law 23, museums are promoted all over the country. That is why; the refurbishment of this old dwelling and telegraph office that belonged to the famous tradesman, Don Laureano Falla Gutierrez, is important to provide the city with the only museum of its kind in the province. The architectural and urban development values of the area will be promoted by fulfilling the rules and regulations in force in the design of Restoration and New Project of a Decorative Arts Museum to the city. It was carried out an analysis about all the museums in the world and the regulation in force for them, as well as the refurbishment of the planimetry and main facades due to the values they have.
