Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación consiste en el diseño y fabricación de
mezclas de hormigón con cemento de bajo carbono, para evaluar su
comportamiento mecánico.
Después de haber realizado una revisión bibliográfica correspondiente al tema,
se efectuó la caracterización físico-mecánica de los materiales utilizados en la
elaboración de las mezclas de hormigón. Para el cálculo de las proporciones de
los distintos agregados se diseñaron mezclas con cemento Portland y cemento
de bajo carbono, aplicando el Método Toufar. Una vez terminado el diseño se
llevó a cabo el proceso de fabricación, en el cual se le efectuaron ensayos de
asentamiento para evaluar la consistencia del hormigón.
Finalmente se determinó la resistencia a compresión de los especímenes de
150x300mm de hormigón a los siete y veintiocho días, los cuales cumplieron
con los requerimientos exigidos en la normativa vigente. Además se evaluó la
influencia de la finura de molido en su comportamiento mecánico, sometiendo
los resultados a un análisis estadístico para su comparación.
This research work involves the design and manufacturing of cement concrete mixtures with low carbon, to assess their mechanical behavior. Having conducted a literature review relevant to the subject, the physical mechanics characterization of materials used in the production of concrete mixes was performed. For the calculation of the proportions of the various aggregates blends with Portland cement and low carbon cement were designed using the Toufar Method. Once the design was carried out the manufacturing process was performed, which will slump tests to evaluate the consistency of concrete. Finally the compressive strength of 150x300mm concrete specimens at seven and twenty eight days were determined, which fulfilled the requirements stipulated in the regulations. Besides the influence of the fineness of grinding mechanical behavior was evaluated, while the results were subjected to a statistical analysis for comparison.
