Resumen
En esta investigación se diseña la Estrategia de Intervención del Callejón
Guamajal. Para ello se parte de implementar la Metodología GEO Ciudades
con el fin de realizar un análisis de la problemática urbana-ambiental del
asentamiento, situado en la periferia de la ciudad de Santa Clara con
problemas urbanos-ambientales que se manifiestan en el deterioro de su
improvisada infraestructura, el uso global del suelo y el medio ambiente,
incidiendo en la calidad de vida de sus habitantes. Al realizar el diagnóstico
urbano- ambiental, se caracterizan los indicadores en base a las temáticas a
analizar y se identifican los problemas y el impacto de los mismos. Otro aporte
de esta investigación lo constituye la propuesta de soluciones a través del plan
de acción a corto y mediano plazo, para la toma de decisiones como respuesta
para minimizar o solucionar estos problemas teniendo en cuenta las
condiciones del país, los planes de desarrollo económico y de inversión de los
organismos implicados en cada acción, considerando acciones alternativas.
Throughout this research the Strategy of Intervention of Guamajal Alley is designed. In order to do an analysis of the environmental-urban problems of the settlement placed in the outskirts of Santa Clara city we took into consideration the GEO cities methodology these environmental-urban problems which are shown on the deterioration of its improvised infrastructure, the global use of the ground and the environment influencing on the quality of life of its inhabitants. While doing the environmental-urban diagnosis, the indicators based on the topics to be analized were characterized and the problems and the impact are identified. Another contribution of this research is the proposal of solutions through the plan of action at short and medium periods, for the decisions taken as responses to minimize or solve these problems taking into account the conditions of our country, the plans for economical development and the investment of the institutions involved on every action, considering alternative actions.
