Resumen
En esta investigación se realiza un diagnóstico ambiental con el fin de valorar la
situación ambiental del Cardiocentro “Ernesto Che Guevara” de Villa Clara,
institución que ha decidido mejorar su desempeño ambiental y para ello se ha
trazado como objetivo optar por el Reconocimiento Ambiental Nacional como vía de
facilitar la implementación del Sistema de Gestión Ambiental con enfoque a la
norma NC-ISO 14001:2004, siendo la salida de éste un Programa de Gestión
Ambiental que establece los objetivos y metas a implementar. Como resultados del
trabajo se lograron identificar y evaluar los impactos ambientales asociados a los
servicios que se prestan en el Cardiocentro y definir los elementos constituyentes
del SGA en este centro. Los resultados de este trabajo pueden ser extrapolados a
centros con similares características.
In this research an environmental diagnosis is applied with the purpose of valuating the environmental situation of the Cardiocentro "Ernesto Che Guevara" of Villa Clara. This institution has decided to improve its environmental acting and for that it has been traced as a main goal to go for the National Environmental Recognition as a way of facilitating the implementation of the Environmental Management System with focus to the standard NC-ISO 14001:2004. The exit of this is an Environmental Management Program that establishes the objectives and goals to implement. As results of this work, it was possible to identify and to evaluate the environmental impacts associated to the services that are brought in the Cardiocentro and to define the elements that must be contained in the Environmental Management Systems of this center. The results of this work could be extrapolated to institutions with similar characteristics.
