This paper makes an analytical characterization of the water used at the Center for Chemical Bioactive (CBQ), and that water is one of the basic resources that support the development of the chemical industry production of active ingredients in the formulation in human medicine, agricultural and veterinary. The determined parameters to assess their quality qualitatively were turbidity, taste, color and smell, while the quantitative were pH, dissolved solids, conductivity, chloride, total alkalinity, nitrite, ammonia, nitrates, total hardness, calcium hardness and hardness magnesic, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), dissolved oxygen and microbial contamination (fecals coliform and total) of water used at different times of the year. It identified some validation parameters in order to obtain greater reliability in the results, the techniques for the determination of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate be the same linear, precise and accurate. The results of the various parameters analyzed in the water tanks for each area enable us to establish criteria for their use.
