Resumen
Santa Clara es ejemplo de ciudades que poseen grandes riquezas en cuanto a valores patrimoniales como culturales. La misma está ubicada en la región central de la Isla, constituye un sitio de obligado tránsito para los turistas; que cada año recorren los principales destinos del país buscando variados atractivos turísticos de carácter histórico, cultural y natural. Por tanto la investigación a desarrollar se propone como objetivo elaborar una Estrategia de Gestión Turística Cultural Sostenible para el desarrollo local de la ciudad Santa Clara, en vista a lograr la rentabilidad de su potencial turístico a largo plazo; respetando su integridad y permitiendo el logro de beneficios para la comunidad receptora, a través de la integración de esfuerzos de todos los implicados. Para el logro de la misma se
analizaron varios procedimientos, pero finalmente el más indicado consistió el de
la Msc. Zeida Ignacia Carvajal García (2013), que se titula “Procedimiento para desarrollar la gestión turística cultural sostenible para el desarrollo local”; pues se adapta a las particularidades del proceso investigativo, específicamente en destinos históricos-culturales desde la perspectiva de sostenibilidad cultural.
Además se valora como limitación que no existe la suficiente integración entre las entidades de la ciudad que se encuentran implicadas en el tema estudiado; a lo que este trabajo, que se desea proyectar, supera el ámbito de gestión del Ministerio de Turismo e invita a un trabajo coordinado entre todos los actores del sistema turístico.
Santa Clara is example of cities that have big patrimonial and cultural values. It is located in the central region of the Island; it constitutes a place of having forced traffic for the tourists; which every year travel looking for tourist attractions of historical, cultural and natural character of the main destinations of the country. The objective of this investigation is: to elaborate a Strategy of Sustainable Cultural Tourist Administration for the city Santa Clara, in order to get the profitability of its tourist potential; respecting their integrity and allowing the achievement of benefits for the community, through the integration of efforts of all those implied. Several procedures were analyzed for the achievement of the Strategy, but finally the most suitable procedures was of the Msc. Zeida Ignacia Carvajal García (2013) that is titled Procedure to develop the sustainable cultural tourist administration for the local development"; because it adapts to the particularities of the investigative process, specifically in historical-cultural destinations from the perspective of a sustainable cultural. There is one limitation due to doesn't exist enough integration among the entities of the city that are implied in the studied topic, this project overcomes the environment of administration of the Ministry of Tourism and it invites to a work coordinated among all the actors of the tourist system.
