Temporal data sequences in form of regular grids make a challenge for effective and consistent processing and analysis. Most of the existent methods are unable to make a thorough analysis of spatio-temporal information with multiple variable at a time. In this work we present the problem of visual analysis on temporal sequences of climate variable in the form of regular grids. By means of Scientific Visualization techniques is possible to achieve an effective analysis of the whole information stored in the data sequences. The resulting concepts and methods were implemented as an extension of the Geographical Information System gvSIG. Additionally, a case study on world climate data over a 112 year period is shown. The use of the developed tools made possible the extraction of important tendencies, correlations and patterns related with climate phenomena.
