Resumen
El presente trabajo expone una selección de la arquitectura moderna más representativa existente en las provincias centrales de Sancti Spíritus, Villa Clara y Cienfuegos, con el fin de reflejar las mejores obras y crear un Registro de Obras del Movimiento Moderno en la Región Central y proponerlas para que representen la región en el Registro Nacional de DOCOMOMO. Para realizar esta clasificación, se tuvieron en cuenta criterios de selección enfocados principalmente en los valores artísticos de cada exponente, así como la representatividad geográfica y cronológica y que también incluya la mayoría de los temas del repertorio arquitectónico.
La investigación está estructurada en tres capítulos, el primero que resume las bases teóricas para el desarrollo del tema, el segundo que explica los criterios de selección utilizados en la calificación de las obras y el tercero que presenta el registro de obras con una panorámica general de las características de cada una de las seleccionadas.
El trabajo pretende dar a conocer la más relevante arquitectura moderna de la región central del país en un documento que complete el anteriormente realizado y que sirva como complemento a la selección realizada a nivel nacional, la cual carece de esta información. De esta forma contribuye a su vez al conocimiento y protección de estos inmuebles que forman parte del patrimonio nacional.
The present work exposes a more representative selection of modern architecture existent at Sancti Spíritus's, Villa Clara's and Cienfuegos's central provinces, with the aim of reflecting better works and creating Obras's Record of the Modern Movement at the Central Region and proposing them in order that they represent the region in DOCOMOMO's National Record. In order to accomplish this classification, they had in account criteria of selection focused principally in artistic moral values out of every exponent, as well as geographic and chronological representativeness and that also he include the themes of the architectonic repertory the majority ofly. The investigation is structured in three chapters, the first that summarizes the theoretic developmental bases of the theme that explains the criteria of selection utilized in the evaluation of works and the third party that he shows the record of works with a panoramic general of characteristics out of every an one belonging to selected candidates, the second one. The work intends to open into knowing the more relevant modern architecture of the central region of the country in a document that the previously realized and complete that he serve like complement the selection accomplished nationally, which lacks this information. In this way he contributes to his time to knowledge and protection of these immovables that they are a part of the national heritage.
