The present Diploma Work is aimed at evaluating the potential of electricity generation that the EAVC will have in 2030, if the expected investment process and the sugar production program are met, as well as propose new actions for its increase and for its Implementation was necessary the use of three chapters. The first one reflected the state of the art in the generation of electricity in the global sugar industry, giving an international and national situation in terms of technologies and main indicators. Then, in the second one, a characterization of the electric generation in the EAVC was carried out, in which general data were shown, as well as the miling, generation of steam and electricity. The main energy parameters reflected the generation and consumption rates of electricity and steam generation, then the historical behavior of the sale of electricity was expressed and then the main constraints were exposed for the increase in the generation and sale of electricity through a analysis carried out on a survey applied to representatives, directors and several people with vast experience in sugar mills. Finally, in the third chapter, the sugar mills were modeled using two computer software’s: Cycle Tempo and Microsoft Excel, under the conditions of the technology defined by AZCUBA for the year 2030. The sale of electricity by the EAVC and a comparative analysis was made between the years 2015 and 2030 regarding the delivery of electricity to the SEN. Proposals for alternatives to increase the delivery of electricity from the EAVC to the SEN are then given.
