mismo.
The present research aims to study the behavior of hydraulic concretes encapsulating the intermediate fraction of recycled aggregates. For this purpose, the materials to be used were characterized, in the case of aggregates, by NC 251 "Aggregates for hydraulic concretes. Requirements." The fraction of 5-9 mm was encapsulated with a thin layer of cement to cover the pores of this aggregate which affect the concrete properties due to its high water absorption. For the encapsulation two different cements were tested, LC3 and PP-35. For each cement two proportions (60 kg/m3 and 40 kg/m3) were fabricated to decide the best encapsulation of the four mixtures. Further studies of fabricated concrete with the encapsulated fraction results in an increase of its strength.
