Resumen
Los documentos digitales constituyen hoy en día la fuente bibliográfica y de
información principal de cualquier centro de la educación superior. Por esa razón la
facultad de MFC ha mantenido un sitio Web para el acceso y manejo de los
mismos. Sitio Web que hoy por algunas razones no satisface todas las necesidades
del centro y no cumple con algunos requisitos trazados por la universidad. Por tanto
fue necesario crear un nuevo sitio Web para dar solución a estos problemas. Para
lo cual se comenzó el estudio de los sistemas de manejo de contenidos, que son
softwares que se utilizan principalmente para facilitar la gestión de sitios Web.
También se estudia las ventajas del PHP y el MySQL como posibles candidatos en
el desarrollo de un sistema de manejo de contenido y algunos aspectos que
intervienen en el fortalecimiento de la seguridad del sistema.

Therefore it was necessary to create a new Web site to give solution to these problems. For which the study of the Content Management Systems was begun, that constitutes software’s that are used mainly to facilitate the management of Web sites. Also one studies the advantages of the PHP and the MySQL as possible candidates in the development of a Content Management Systems and some aspects that take part in the fortification of the security of the system.
