Resumen
El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo de estudio el tratamiento superficial de
las piezas mediante la deformación plástica superficial (DPS), considerándose
una de sus variantes, el proceso llamado bruñido por bola, empleado para el
acabado final de piezas mediante la aplicación de elementos deformantes
(bolas) que actúan sobre la superficie tratada. Este proceso permite sustituir
esquemas tecnológicos tradicionales para el tratamiento superficial de las piezas
con el fin de aumentar la eficiencia energética y disminuir la contaminación del
medio ambiente.
Nos proponemos además dar a conocer las particularidades de este método que
aún no está lo debidamente difundido que debiera y llamar la atención sobre sus
ventajas tecnológicas y energéticas.
The study purpose of this research paper is the superficial treatment of the pieces through the superficial plastic deformation (SPD) by taking into account the ball burnishing process which is one of its variants. This process is used for the very final work in the pieces by applying deforming elements (balls) which will take part on the treated surface. It also allows the substitution of traditional technologic schemes for the superficial treatment of the pieces so as to increase the energy efficiency and diminish the pollution of the environment. Besides, we propose to give information about the specific details of this method which is not still appropiatly known as it must be and to get the readers attention on its technologic and energy advantages.
