Resumen
El desarrollo del turismo a nivel mundial ha complejizado las relaciones competitivas que
se dan en el mercado turístico internacional cada vez más creciente y cambiante. En
este contexto las localidades tienen la necesidad de diseñar sus propias estrategias
basadas en la gestión turística sostenible de todos los recursos naturales, históricos,
socio-culturales y patrimoniales, de manera tal que se complementen y permitan una
diferenciación del producto turístico a ofertar en cada lugar. En consonancia con la
política de desarrollo de los destinos turísticos en Cuba se ha ido expandiendo un
desarrollo integral a lo largo del país, existiendo zonas muy importantes por sus recursos
naturales, que se encuentran en fase de crecimiento; siendo el caso del Destino Cayos
de Villa Clara; El diseño de un producto turístico especializado sobre la base de la
aplicación del Procedimiento participativo para la elaboración de productos turísticos
integrados propuesto por Machado (2007), es el objetivo central de la investigación,
consintiendo el principal valor de este producto en responder a una demanda
insatisfecha identificada en el mercado turístico, utilización de los recursos del Destino
Cayos de Villa Clara por parte de la Agencia de Viajes Gaviota Tours Centro,
contribuyendo de esta forma a la diversificación de la ofertas, sin desvincularse de los
principios del desarrollo sostenible.
Designing these competitive products nowadays was considered efficient in the development of Travel Agencies. Various methods, steps and procedures were stated in the specialized literature in order to elaborate it, thus it reflected the actual situation and served as a guidebook in terms of different settings which take place. It comprised structurally and functionally all the services given. Former conducted studies evidenced the insufficient use of resources of Villa Clara cays touristic pole on the part of the Gaviota Tours Centro Travel Agency, brought about on account of various factors. Such a problem was referred to in this diploma paper which presented as an aim designing a touristic product integrated in the observation of birds that meet the market’s demands and likes and in that way it may collaborate with the agency diversifying its products package and a better exploitation of the Touristic Pole Resources. A new product was obtained as a main result which may be offered and also contributed to the diversification of its. Services, without keeping relation with the principles of the sustainable development. The proposed product principles and modern tendencies in the motion on the part of Travel Agencies, which ere recognized in the art state of the bibliography checking process. In order to validate the hypothesis a design of the integrated Touristic Product “Todo Alas” was conducted, using various quantitative and qualitative methods, which contributed to be a part of the above mentioned travel agency.
