Resumen
El Centro de Bioactivos Químicos tiene como misión el desarrollo de
ingredientes farmacéuticos activos. El 2-(2-metil-2-nitrovinil)-furano, más
conocido como UC-244 presenta propiedades demostradas en Cuba y otros
países frente a los ectoparásitos. El presente trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de
estudiar la influencia de diversos factores experimentales tanto en el proceso de
síntesis y como purificación de este principio activo a escala de 6 moles,
empleando diferentes diseños experimentales factoriales. Con los resultados
que proporcionan los diseños seleccionados se evaluaron las influencias de
diferentes factores experimentales (temperatura, tiempo de contacto, etanol,
carbón activado), y se emplearon técnicas analíticas que combinan la
espectrofotometría UV-VIS con una separación previa mediante la cromatografía
de capa delgada y la Cromatografía Líquida de Alta Resolución para la
cuantificación de dicho IFA.
