Resumen

El estudio histórico de las ciencias contables ha cobrado auge a nivel mundial desde finales del siglo XX, para contribuir a estas investigaciones en Cuba, se desarrolló la presente investigación. En primer orden se sistematizaron los fundamentos teóricos respecto a los tributos y sus principales características, la administración de la Hacienda Pública y los métodos de registro contable. Posteriormente se caracteriza el sistema español de administración de la Real Hacienda y su registro contable en Las Indias, posteriormente se abordan las particularidades de este sistema en la Real Hacienda de Cuba durante la colonia. Luego se presenta el análisis de las principales leyes que en materia de cuentas dictaba España y su aplicación en Cuba. Estas leyes establecían la observancia de determinas prácticas contables en cuanto a registro y los libros a llevar, aun así estas no se cumplían de inmediato en las colonias, transcurriendo en ocasiones varios años de diferencia en su implementación. Finalmente, a partir de la revisión de los libros de cuentas de la Villa de Santa Clara conservados en el Archivo Nacional de Cuba, se analiza la aplicación del método de cargo y data o partida simple para el registro de las operaciones en el período 1689-1855.
The historical study of the countable sciences has charged peak at world level from final of the XX century, to contribute to these investigations in Cuba, the present investigation was developed. In first order the theoretical foundations were systematized regarding the tributes and their main ones characteristic, the administration of the Public Treasury and the methods of registration accountant. Later on it is characterized the Spanish system of administration of the Real Treasury and their countable registration in The Indies, later on the particularities of this system are approached in the Real Treasury of Cuba during the colony. Then the analysis of the main laws is presented that dictated Spain and its application in Cuba as regards bills. These laws established the observance of you determine countable practices as for registration and the books to take, even so these they were not completed immediately in the colonies, lapsing in occasions several years of difference in their implementation. Finally, starting from the revision of the books of bills of Santa Clara's Villa conserved in the National File of Cuba, the application of the position method is analyzed and it dates or simple departure for the registration of the operations in the period 1689- 1855.
