Resumen
En el presente trabajo se realizó un estudio de la central Santa Clara 110 kV con vistas a identificar potencialidades para la cogeneración. Se describió los motores de combustión interna de fuel oil utilizados en el emplazamiento, se analizó el consumo de combustible en la central eléctrica para diferentes regímenes de carga, determinando las emisiones contaminantes, específico de los gases de escape. Se estableció una Metodología para el balance térmico del motor Himsen Hyundai 1,7 MW y caldera recuperativa, identificando potenciales de calor producto de la combustión, además se realizó un balance exergético para determinar que parte de ese calor se encuentra disponible para para la cogeneración.
Presently work was carried out a study of the power station Santa Clara 110 kV with a view to identifying potentialities for the cogeneration. The motors of internal combustion of fuel oil used in the location was described, the consumption of fuel was analyzed in the electric power station for different load regimen, determining the polluting emissions, specific of the escape gases. A Methodology settled down for the thermal balance of the motor Himsen Hyundai 1,7 MW and recuperative boiler, identifying potentials of heat product of the combustion, he/she was also carried out a balance exergético to determine that it leaves of that heat it is available for the cogeneration.
