Risk analysis is a process that allows identifying, analyzing, evaluating and prioritizing risks through recommendations for their prevention, so that their operation is safe. In the present work a study of the difficulties presented in the Center for the Study of Applied Chemistry (CSAC) is carried out when performing the Operational Risk Analysis and a computer solution (AROJAM 1.0) is developed that implements the Hazop and JAM methods, besides the procedures of the quantitative variables, risk matrix and risk scenario included in the study. The computer tool is tested with favorable results for the case study developed by CSAC specialists at the Sergio Soto Valdés de Cabaiguán refinery.
