La presente investigación está encaminada a facilitar la selección del mejor Bar y Restaurante que abrirá en la temporada baja con el fin de aumentar los ingresos generados por la actividad turística, tomando como objeto de estudio el Hotel Iberostar Selection Ensenachos, única construcción sobre el cayo virgen con forma de herradura en la provincia de Villa Clara y que presta servicios de alojamiento y alimentación. Por esta razón se propone emplear dentro de los métodos multicriterios las técnicas: Suma Ponderada y ELECTRE y comparar los resultados que brinden dichas técnicas. Estas herramientas han surgido durante las últimas décadas con el fin de hacer frente a la necesidad de agilizar y mejorar el proceso de toma de decisiones, debido a un entorno cada vez más dinámico y competitivo que obliga a tomar con agilidad decisiones basadas en múltiples criterios y caracterizadas por su complejidad y diversidad alternativa.
