Presenta un análisis crítico de la literatura evidenciada en la investigación así como aspectos generales que se relacionan conceptualmente con el tema de mantenimiento y su auditoría, el diagnóstico del mantenimiento, definiciones, así como lo referido a la gestión del mantenimiento, su control y formas de evaluarlo a través de una auditoría de mantenimiento. Presenta la aplicación del procedimiento diseñado por (Borroto Pentón, 2005), en hospitales cubanos que permite a la organización médica y social la realización de auditorías de mantenimiento y con ello conocer cómo se está, dónde se está y dónde se debería estar con respecto al mantenimientoThe present work of diploma accomplishes at the General Teaching Hospital Roberto Rodriguez of the Ciego the Avila Province especially at the Morón Municipality.
