Ante la deficiente producción de materiales que presenta el sector de la construcción para suplir el déficit del fondo habitacional de la vivienda en el municipio de Cabaiguán, la introducción de materiales alternativos, obtenidos del beneficio del reciclaje, como sustitutos de las materias primas convencionales es una solución recurrente y viable a poner en práctica, esencialmente en la construcción de viviendas mínimas adecuadas o Célula Básica Habitacional (CBH). Como objetividad dentro del asunto a tratar, en el municipio de Cabaiguán funciona una planta para el procesamiento de los residuales sólidos urbanos que la propia sociedad genera, y que consta con capacidad de producir un surtido de materias primas para la producción de materiales constructivos bioamigables sin someter la explotación de recursos naturales no renovables. El objetivo de la investigación radica promover las potencialidades que esta minindustria puede aportar a la construcción de una CBH como solución alternativa al déficit del fondo habitacional de la vivienda en el municipio de Cabaiguán.The recycling industry is an emerging sector in the international economic framework that moves a range of new practices and perspectives within the world of construction with sustainability approaches. Given the deficient production of materials presented by the construction sector to supply the housing fund deficit in the municipality of Cabaiguán, the introduction of alternative materials, obtained from the benefit of recycling, as substitutes for conventional raw materials is a recurrent and viable solution to put into practice, essentially in the construction of adequate minimum housing or Habitational Basic Cell (CBH). As objectivity in the matter to be dealt with, in the municipality of Cabaiguán there is a plant for the processing of urban solid waste generated by the company itself, and which has the capacity to produce an assortment of raw materials for the production of bio-friendly construction materials without subject the exploitation of non-renewable natural resources.
