This study highlights the importance of teaching French language to expand students´ general culture as well as what can be done to motivate them for the learning of a new language. The students´ strengths and weaknesses were assessed through the administration of different empirical methods such as interview, observation, survey and pedagogical test. The building upprocess of the proposal was carried out during 8weeks following a learning research journal arrangement. The final scientific outcome was proposed,a system of communicative activities to improvespeaking abilityin the French language. Some transformations were achieved in the students´ speaking ability.
