Se hace imprescindible el tratamiento de este tema desde las ciencias del lenguaje para enriquecer y profundizar en lo relacionado con las investigaciones sobre el legado lingüístico yoruba en la región central de Cuba.Abstract: This work is an analysis of the particularities of the morphological level acquired by some nouns belonging to the Yoruba language in their adaptation to the Spanish national variant, through the practices of the religions of the Ocha-Ifá complex, expressed through the gender and number morphemes, as well as the processes of derivation and composition in word formation.
