El período de siembra y cosecha de la papa estuvo comprendido entre enero de 2017 hasta marzo de 2017, la fecha comienzo de siembra fue el 27 de diciembre del 2016. La variedad de papa es Ultra y el área total plantada fue de 8.0 hectáreas. Las temperaturas iniciales y finales fueron favorables para el cultivo ya que se comportaron entre los 18 y 30 0 C. Se determinó que, con 14 riegos es suficiente para satisfacer las necesidades hídricas del cultivo de la papa con una norma total aplicada de 3 377m 3 . Los resultados de la pluviometría marcaron una Media ponderado de 7.774 mm.
