Para su ejecución se elaboraron y utilizaron las metodologías de investigación correspondientes a: la caracterización del área de prueba donde se realizó la investigación; la caracterización técnica y tecnológica de la máquina objeto de estudio y; para determinar los factores que intervienen en las pérdidas de cosecha de la misma. Como resultado fundamental de la investigación, se logró conocer que las pérdidas fundamentales de cosecha durante las pruebas realizadas se obtuvieron en el campo 4 con valores mayores de 667.5 kg/ha-1 representando el 55.74% de las mismas. Por otro lado, se destaca el campo 1 con pérdidas de 122 kg/ha-1 lo cual representa solo el 10.85% de estas. Demostrando estadísticamente, que los campos 1 y 2 son los de menores pérdidas y los mayores fueron los campos 3 y 4 en este aspecto.The work was carried out in the Agroindustrial Grain Company''Valle del Caonao'' municipality of Yaguajay, Iguará town, of the Province of Sancti Spíritus, during the period between the months of October 2018 to January 2019.
