En el curso académico 2013-2014 se impartió la asignatura de Lengua materna a los estudiantes de primer año de la carrera de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, esto permitió diagnosticar a los estudiantes antes mencionados y se constató que tenían carencias en cuanto al desarrollo de habilidades comunicativas para la comunicación científica oral.
