En este trabajo se llevaron a cabo varias mediciones en el área de manipulación, preparación y tandem. Esto se realizó para la caña azucarera y para la caña energética aunque de esta última se obtuvieron muy pocos datos debido a las pocas horas de molida de la misma. En el laboratorio se obtuvieron los resultados de fibra de entrada, bagazo % caña, humedades de salida y fibra dura/meollo. Como resultado final se realizó un análisis económico sobre la incidencia económica en una zafra debida al incremento en las pérdidas de pol en bagazo. Con respecto a la eficiencia mecánica se llevaron a cabo los cálculos de potencia por el Diagnóstico desarrollado por Pérez y se compararon con las reales tomadas en el tandem para los motores 3 y 1. Por otra parte se calculó la capacidad por el método del manual de Planta Moledora y por el desarrollado por Pérez se comparó con la real del tandem. y se hizo un análisis acerca de la influencia de algunas variables como el diámetro de las mazas, la velocidad angular y la fuerza hidráulica total sobre el consumo de potencia, la capacidad , los consumos específicos y la eficiencia mecánica.The object of study of this work was the sugar industry "Melanio Hernández " located in the county of Sancti Spíritus, municipality Taguasco, in order to improve their technological efficiency and mechanics . In this work they were carried out several measurements in the area of manipulation, preparation and mill. This was carried out for the sugar cane and for the energy cane although very few data were obtained of this one, due to the few hours of milling operation with this tipe of cane. In the laboratory the results of entrance fiber, bagasse % cane, exit humidities and others were obtained. As a final result an analysis about the economic incidence in this year due to the increment in the pol losses in bagasse was carried out. With regard to the mechanical efficiency the calculations of power were made by the Diagnosis developed by Pérez and they were compared with the real ones taken in the tandem for the motors 3 and 1. On the other hand the capacity was calculated by the method of the Manual de Planta Moledora and for the one developed by Pérez and they was compared with the real of the tandem.
