Por otra parte, se está desarrollando una expansión en el uso de aplicaciones electrónicas para el correo, las firmas y certificados digitales, las transacciones económicas, acceso a bancos de datos y otras operaciones, haciendo que los requerimientos de seguridad sean mayores cada día. El presente trabajo ofrece un panorama acerca del monitoreo de los servicios y las estaciones en redes LAN, la búsqueda y recolección de información sobre vulnerabilidades. Se hace referencia a las herramientas más utilizadas para estos fines y se presenta una introducción a los conceptos básicos de seguridad de la información.In most of the Cuban companies the administration of the servants is in charge of people with very basic knowledge who face the interaction for the first time with systems Unix like Ubuntu, they, Net Hat among others.
