Las nuevas tendencias actuales de las empresas de construcción y su desarrollo constante en este modelo hacen que sea necesario un estudio y capacitación en este sentido, reflejando la necesidad de introducir su estudio en el plan docente de la carrera de Ingeniería Civil en la Universidad “Marta Abreu” de Las Villas. Se realiza un plan de implementación BIM para la empresa IDEAR en Cienfuegos, partiendo de un análisis detallado de sus características, proyecciones, capacitación y presupuesto con que cuenta; se expone también la situación del BIM en empresas del territorio y su proyección de cara a la implementación en las mismas. Con la realización del caso práctico “Panadería Dulcería” en REVIT, apreciamos las ventajas que nos brinda el programa al poseer un modelo virtual 3D sobre el cual trabajamos para obtener el tiempo y costo (4D y 5D) de una forma más eficiente y rápida. Se realiza el flujo de trabajo para este proyecto con los softwares AUTODESK REVIT, STAAD Pro y el EXCEL, logrando intercambiar información entre los mismos, pero sin llegar a la interoperabilidad deseada y la inclusión de todas las especialidades.First this work shows a bibliographic analyze about the BIM model, showing all its main characteristics, advantages and limitations, work forms, change that supposes respect to the traditional method and the adventages of possessing a 3D virtual model throughout of the life cicle of a Project. The news current trends of the construction companies and its constant development in this model, make the study and training very important, reflecting the necessity of introducing its study in the teaching plan of the Civil Engineer career at the University “Marta Abreu” de las Villas. We are going to make an Implementation BIM plan for the Idear Company in Cienfuegos, started from an analyze about his characteristics, projections, skills and budget; we show too the BIM situation of territory companies and its projections about BIM.
