Resumen
En el presente trabajo se realizó una simulación del proceso tecnológico de
obtención de etanol a partir de materiales lignocelulósicos (específicamente el
bagazo de caña). Primeramente se llevo a cabo una revisión bibliográfica donde
se hizo un estudio de los principales componentes del proceso, definiendo su
composición, sus usos, su tecnología y pre-tratamientos que reciben, así como de
las principales características de la simulación de procesos químicos.
Posteriormente se evaluó en el simulador HYSYS este proceso para las
siguientes condiciones: temperatura de la primera etapa a 120°C y sacarificación y
fermentación separadas, mostrándonos en su ambiente de simulación, sus
principales corrientes, con sus respectivos parámetros característicos ,así como
los equipos utilizados en cada etapa. Luego se realizó un análisis económico para
dos capacidades de la planta obteniéndose como mejor configuración cuando la
planta trabaja a 1000HL/día, según las condiciones estudiadas .También se
realizo un análisis de sensibilidad a algunas variables con cierto grado de
incertidumbre determinando que la que mayor efecto tiene sobre los indicadores
de rentabilidad costo unitario y costo por peso fue la temperatura de ebullición de
la Xilosa.
In this Project is realized the simulation of the technological process through which one can obtain ethanol from lignocelluloses materials (specifically from the bagasse of sugar cane). In the first place the revision of the bibliography was done , studying the principals components of the process, defining their compositions , the different cases in which one use these components , the technology and pretreatment which can be applied to these components .There was also done the study of the principal characteristics of the simulation of chemical processes. Followed by the evaluation of the process applying the simulator HYSYS, analyzing conditions such as the temperature of the first stage at 120 degrees Celsius, the scarification and the fermentation separately. Exposing the principal streams including their different characteristics parameters and also the equipments used in this process. Later on an economical analyze of two capacities of the plant were done obtaining the best configuration when the plant functions at the production of 1000 HL/day of ethanol according to the conditions studied in this project. Followed by the analyze of the sensibility of some variables with a certain degree of uncertainty, determining that the variable that has the most negative effect on the indicators of the ratability such as the unitary cost and the cost per weight is the temperature of ebullition of the xylose .
