Resumen
El presente trabajo es una propuesta de intervención estructural del inmueble ubicado en la esquina 35 y 52, en el Centro Histórico de Cienfuegos, que al igual que muchos de los edificios que forman parte del patrimonio edificado del centro histórico de la ciudad, presentan serias patologías con compromiso para su seguridad.
Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de la literatura científica relacionada con el tema de la rehabilitación de edificios patrimoniales que incluyen el estudio de las diversas tendencias actuales en cuanto a conductas intervencionistas mediante ejemplos de rehabilitación de edificios afines a este, tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional.
Siguiendo las recomendaciones halladas en la literatura revisada y de un estudio particular realizado a este propio edificio, se confeccionó el diagnóstico de las afectaciones en los elementos estructurales de la edificación que incluyó, además del levantamiento gráfico, fotográfico y la inspección visual detallada para estos casos, mediciones para cuantificar los desperfectos geométricos. Todo ello permitió obtener una información del estado actual de la edificación y en especial de sus elementos estructurales, la cual se toma como base para el estudio de su recuperación y las propuestas de reparación con el principal objetivo de rescatar el inmueble y preservar para la posteridad su valor histórico y patrimonial.
A proposal for structural intervention of the property located in the corner of 35 street and 52 avenue in the Historic Center of Cienfuegos City is presented in this research work, which as many of the buildings that are part of the built heritage in the historic center of Cienfuegos, has serious pathologies that compromises the safety of the property. A bibliographic review carried out to the scientific literature related to the issue of rehabilitation of heritage buildings that includes the study of various current trends regarding how to realize interventional actions by examples of how to proceed with the rehabilitation of buildings, both national and international. Following the recommendations found in the revised literature and a particular study done to the same building, the diagnosis of the damages of structural elements of the building was elaborated and it included, in addition to graphic, photographic survey and detailed visual inspection done for cases like this, measurements to quantify the geometrical imperfections. All this showed us the information of the building real situation and especially of its structural elements which are taken as the basis for the retrieval study and the repairing proposals which main objective is to rescue the building and to preserve its historical and heritage value to posterity.
