Resumen
Los ecosistemas acuáticos se ven grandemente afectados actualmente a causa del trabajo humano, el desarrollo turístico, la contaminación ambiental, la pesca masiva y el cambio climático global. En el Centro de Investigación de Ecosistemas Costeros (CIEC) en Cayo Coco se lleva a cabo un estudio para preservar las comunidades de estas aguas. Las herramientas disponibles en el centro no satisfacen sus necesidades en cuanto a precisión. Este trabajo propone la implementación de un sistema automatizado para simplificar el trabajo de los biofísicos que laboran en este lugar. Para ello se realizaron mediciones en el área de Laguna Larga sobre las comunidades de pastos marinos que habitan esta zona aplicando técnicas experimentales que aportaron los valores para la Base de Datos elaborada en el framework de desarrollo Django y para el sitio web capaz de realizar el cálculo correspondiente a la inhibición de la fotosíntesis por el ultravioleta. De esta forma se facilita el trabajo para el desarrollo científico técnico de estos especialistas en Bioinformática en nuestro país.

A study to preserve the communities that inhabit those waters is carried out at the Center for Coastal Ecosystem Research (CIEC) in Cayo Coco. The tools available in the facility did not meet their needs according to accuracy. This paper proposes the implementation of an automated system to simplify the work of biophysicists working in this place. Taking this issue into account, measurements were performed in Laguna Larga region, specifically on seagrass communities, using experimental techniques which provided values for the database developed in Django, a framework of development and also for the web site capable of calculating the photosynthesis inhibition by ultraviolet. This research will facilitate the work aimed to scientific and technical development of these Bioinformatics specialists in our country.
