Resumen
El nuevo modelo de desarrollo local y el término cluster industrial se presentan actualmente como una opción más para elevar la competitividad y el nivel de desarrollo de las naciones. En tal sentido en el contexto actual de Cuba estos términos toman un carácter relevante y de acentuada importancia. Por tal motivo la presente investigación contiene una revisión bibliográfica sobre temas vinculados con este particular modelo de desarrollo y las peculiaridades del término cluster industrial, enfocándose sobre todo en la aplicación de los mismos en la esfera agroindustrial.
De esta forma primeramente se realiza un recuento de los antecedentes del término desarrollo local, conceptualizando el mismo desde la óptica de prestigiosos investigadores. Además se hace especial énfasis en los aspectos más importantes que lo distinguen de otros modelos de desarrollo. El análisis culmina al exponer las características de este proceso en el contexto histórico cubano destacándose sus particularidades, retos y perspectivas.
Por otra parte se profundiza en la definición teórica del término cluster industrial, estableciendo su vinculación con el referido modelo de desarrollo. Mediante un breve recorrido por las distintas teorías que describen su formación se hace hincapié en sus características más relevantes. A continuación se evalúan varias experiencias en la aplicación de diferentes metodologías para el análisis de los mismos a nivel internacional, particularizándose en especial en aquellas realizadas en Latinoamérica y sobre todo en las enfocadas en la esfera agroindustrial. Para culminar se presenta una síntesis de los estudios realizados en Cuba alrededor del tema evidenciándose importantes reservas.
The new model of local development and the term industrial cluster are introduced at present like an option plus for lifting the competitiveness and the level of development of the nations. In such sense in the present-day context of Cuba these terms take a relevant and accentuated- importance character. For such motive present it investigation contains a bibliographic revision on themes linked with this model individual of development and the peculiarities of the term cluster industrial, focusing on application most of all of the same in the agroindustrial sphere. In this way firstly local development accomplishes a score of the background of the term itself, conceptualizing the same from prestigious investigators' optics. Besides emphasis in the more important aspects that tell it from other models of development becomes especial. The analysis culminates when the Cuban standing out exposes the characteristics of this process in the historic context his particularities, challenges and perspectives. On the other hand deepens to him in the theoretic definition of the term cluster industrial, establishing his linkage with the referred model of development. Stress in his most relevant characteristics is done by means of a brief journey for the different theories that they describe his formation. From now on they evaluate several experiences in the application of different methodologies for the analysis of the same level international, focusing on special in those accomplished in Latin America and most of all in the focused in the agroindustrial sphere. A synthesis of the studies accomplished in Cuba around the theme becoming evident shows important stock itself in order to culminate.
