| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación caracteriza la construcción de la occidentalidad en el discurso propagandístico de las agencias de noticias hipermediales Reuters (edición América Latina), Sputnik (edición Mundo) y Notimex, durante el primer trimestre del 2019. Se emplea el método del Análisis del Discurso Multimodal, a través del cual se analizan las estructuras discursivas semánticas, retóricas y narrativas, la orquestación semiótica multimodal del discurso, y la identificación grupal y la legitimación como estrategias ideológicas. Para estructurar el estudio, también se emplean el método bibliográfico-documental y la técnica de la entrevista estructurada a expertos en el tema. Se reconoce como principal resultado que, a través de la glocalización propagandística de las noticias de sociedad y estilos de vida, se construye discursivamente el dominio del hombre euronorteamericano sobre el mercado del arte, las celebraciones internacionales y el reconocimiento a minorías invisibilizadas, redescubiertas y salvadas desde el enfoque occidental. Aunque se privilegia en las tres agencias el respeto por la ley y la democracia, el consumismo y el avance tecnológico que caracterizan al Sí Mismo occidental, también existen narrativas (fundamentalmente de Sputnik) que ponderan la unidad cultural de los pueblos de la Otredad para deconstruir la hegemonía occidental | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The present investigation characterizes the construction of westernity in the propaganda discourse of hypermedial news agencies Reuters (América Latina edition), Sputnik (Mundo edition) & Notimex, during the first quarter of 2019. The method of Multimodal Analysis of Discourse is used, through which the semantic, rhetorical and narrative discursive structures, multimodal semiotic orchestration of discourse, and group identification and legitimation as ideological strategies are analyzed. To organize the study, the bibliographic-documentary method and the structured interview technique to experts in the discipline are also used. The main result is that, through the propagandistic glocalization of society and lifestyles news, the domain of the Euro-North American man is built discursively, on the art market, international celebrations and the recognition of invisible minorities, rediscovered and saved from the western approach. Although the respect for the law and democracy, consumerism and technological advance that characterize the Western Self are privileged in the three agencies, there are also narratives (mainly from Sputnik) that praise the cultural unity of the people of the Other to deconstruct Western hegemony. | en_US |
