Resumen
En este estudio se determina el funcionamiento de los índices acústicos suprasegmentales (tono y duración de pausas) en la demarcación de la estructura interna del enunciado, tanto, la sintáctica como la informativa. Este análisis permite explicar el valor de la prosodia para la segmentación del discurso en unidades acústicas mínimas que poseen un valor semántico, sintáctico e informativo, y por tanto contribuyen a la organización del continuum del habla y facilitan la comprensión del oyente. Para ello se realiza un análisis perceptivo y acústico de una muestra conformada por 100 enunciados no consecutivos, tomados de 10 conferencias académicas; de ellos fueron segmentadas 357 unidades entonativas. La identificación perceptiva (corroborada acústicamente a posteriori) de las unidades entonativas, según el sistema de la variante cubana, y la medición de los índices acústicos al inicio y el final de cada unidad permitió determinar los rasgos acústicos con función demarcativa.
In this study, the performance of the suprasegmental acoustic indices (tone and duration of pauses) in the demarcation of the internal structure of the utterance is determined, both syntactic and informative. This analysis allows us to explain the value of prosody for discourse segmentation in minimal acoustic units that have a semantic, syntactic and informative value, and therefore contribute to the organization of the speech continuum and facilitate the understanding of the listener. To this end, a perceptual and acoustic analysis of a sample consisting of 100 non-consecutive statements taken from 10 academic conferences is carried out; of them, 357 in-line units were segmented. The perceptive identification (acoustically corroborated a posteriori) of the intonation units, according to the system of the Cuban variant, and the measurement of the acoustic indices at the beginning and end of each unit allowed to determine the acoustic features with demarcative function.
