Resumen
El empleo correcto del lenguaje científico ha adquirido significación en la enseñanza
superior cubana, pues sin el buen uso del mismo no se pudieran expresar argumentos
con coherencia y cohesión en la presentación de resultados científicos. En el curso
académico 2016-2017 se realizó un diagnóstico a los estudiantes de cuarto año de la
carrera de Licenciatura en Química, determinado por la necesidad del colectivo de
carrera y del colectivo de año y en el cual se evidenciaron algunas carencias
relacionadas con el uso del lenguaje científico. Con el objetivo de resolver esta
problemática se dio inicio a la presente investigación, en la cual se utilizaron técnicas y
métodos del nivel teórico y del nivel empírico, mediante los cuales la investigadora
pudo determinar regularidades para el establecimiento del objetivo general y de los
objetivos específicos. Las contribuciones más importantes de la investigación están
dirigidas hacia el enriquecimiento de la teoría de la comunicación, el discurso y el
lenguaje científicos y la caracterización del lenguaje científico de los estudiantes de
Licenciatura en Química de la UCLV, así como el apoyo brindado a los profesores de
esa especialidad para la erradicación de problemas de sus estudiantes en la
comunicación de resultados científicos.
The correct use of scientific language has acquired significance in Cuban higher education, since without the proper use of it, arguments could not be expressed with coherence and cohesion in the presentation of scientific results. In the academic year 2016-2017 a diagnosis was made to students of the fourth year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, determined by the need of the career collective and the collective of the year and in which some shortcomings related to the use of the scientific language were evidenced. With the aim of solving this problem, the present research was initiated, in which techniques and methods of the theoretical level and the empirical level were used, by which the investigator was able to determine regularities for the establishment of the general objective and the specific objectives. The most important contributions of the research are directed towards the enrichment of the theory of communication, scientific discourse and language and the characterization of the scientific language of UCLV chemistry students, as well as the support provided to teachers of this specialty in the eradication of problems of their students in the communication of scientific results.
