dc.description.abstractEl periodismo de investigación (PI),1 resulta una de las modalidades más denunciantes y por ende prestigiosas de la profesión. Por lo que esta tesis, de tipo comunicológica, cualitativa y orientada al estudio del mensaje periodístico, tiene como objetivo general la descripción de características del PI presentes en los reportajes2 publicados por el semanario Escambray durante 2015. Para la confección del estudio se utilizaron diversos métodos y técnicas de la investigación social: método bibliográfico documental, revisión bibliográfica, análisis cualitativo de contenido, entrevista y grupo focal. En los textos de Escambray se manifiestan rasgos del PI como el ocultamiento u obstaculización de la información, la denuncia de erróneas gestiones en instituciones del Estado, y el uso de fuentes, métodos y técnicas propios de la investigación periodísticaen_US
dc.description.abstractInvestigative journalism (IJ) is one of the most prestigious branches in the profession. So this thesis, of comunicologic, qualitative oriented study of journalistic message type, has as general objective the description of the characteristics of IJ presented in the reports published by Escambray during 2015. For the preparation of the study different methods and social research techniques were used: documentary literature method, literature review, qualitative content analysis, interviews and focus group. In the texts of Escambray features of IP as the concealment or obstruction of information, the complaint of wrong steps in state institutions, and the use of sources, methods and techniques of investigative journalism.en_US
