dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo se realizó con el objetivo de diseñar una propuesta de programa de acciones educativas que contribuya a fortalecer la labor preventiva del equipo básico de trabajo (GBT) y las promotoras de salud, para la prevención del Síndrome Metabólico en adolescentes que presentan factores de riesgo asociados a esta enfermedad, todos trabajadores del Policlínico Universitario “Chiqui Gómez Lubian” del municipio Santa Clara, en el período comprendido entre octubre 2011 a octubre de 2012. Durante el proceso de investigación se emplearon métodos y técnicas de investigación que permitieron acercarnos al estudio de las necesidades educativas desde una perspectiva de investigación integradora. Para la investigación se utilizó un estudio multimuestral: la primera, compuesta por los adolescentes de la ESBU: “Fe del Valle” perteneciente al citado policlínico y la segunda, por el equipo básico de trabajo y promotoras de salud que laboran en Consultorios Médicos de la Familia, los resultados obtenidos del diagnóstico de necesidades educativas se analizaron de manera cuantitativa y cualitativa y avaló la necesidad de proponer el programa y orientar la propuesta. El programa se elaboró con 7 sesiones que tributan a proporcionar el conocimiento y habilidades indispensables para fortalecer la labor preventiva del equipo básico de trabajo y las promotoras de salud y así lograr la adopción de modos de vida sanos, la que fue posteriormente avalada por un criterio de especialistas que constató su pertinencia.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe objective of this work was to design a proposal of a program of educative actions that helps to strengthen the preventive work of the “Basic Working Group” (in Spanish: GBT) and the health promoters to prevent the metabolic syndrome in adolescents that presented risk factors associated to this disease, all of the doctors, nurses and health promoters were workers from “Chiqui Gómez Lubián” polyclinic from Santa Clara city in the period between October 2011 to October 2012. During the research process, methods and research techniques were used to allow getting closer to the study of the educative needs from an integrated investigation perspective. A multisample study was carried out for the research: the first was composed by adolescents from “Fe del Valle” secondary school who were also patients from the previously mentioned polyclinic; the second, by the “Basic Working Group” and health promoters that work in the family doctor’s offices, the obtained results from the diagnoses of the educative needs were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively and supported the need to propose the program and to guide the proposal. The program was elaborated with 7 sessions that tribute to give the indispensable abilities and knowledge to strengthen the preventive work of the “Basic Working Group” and the health promoters and so make possible the adoption of healthy life styles, which was later supported by specialists’ criteria and which valued its belonging.en_US
