dc.description.abstractThe present Diploma Work, from the author Alexis Compte Iglesias, is entitled Luis César Valdés Magrán: Outstanding Figure in the Cuban Baseball. It was advised by the masters Sara González Santos and Ernesto Pacheco Rodríguez and it is a part of the project of investigation: "Life History of the Sport Glories”. It is framed inside the theme: "History of the Sport from Villa Clara: An Alternative for the Teaching of the Subject History of the Sport in the Centers of Sport Education”. The idea of writing this paper is given by the necessity to recognize the professional trajectory of glories and relevant figures in our sport. It has been shared by the INDER managers of the province of Villa Clara, Physical Culture specialists and teachers who integrate the history project of our faculty, where they all agreed with the approval of this investigation whose principal target consists of compiling the information to put it at the disposal of the new generations' formation process. Luis César Valdés Magrán has been able to represent our country in national and international arenas, demonstrating his professional preparation, dignity, value and decorum, and contributing with his example to maintain the Revolutionary Cuban Sport in a high place. The scientific and methodological funds made possible to review the facts, using as a tool the methodology of the qualitative investigation. The obtained results allowed to enrich the final report of the investigation, in addition to the interchange with team and work partners, as well as the managers of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER, for its Spanish abbreviation) of the municipality of Santa Clara. They contributed with a big volume of information about the life of the investigated one. With the results, it was possible to elaborate the present review that is considered to be of high importance, for fulfilling the objectives for which it was designed.en_US
dc.description.abstractEl presente Trabajo de Diploma titulado Luis César Valdés Magrán: figura destacada en el arbitraje del Béisbol, del autor Alexis Compte Iglesias, asesorado por la Máster Sara González Santos y el Licenciado Ernesto Pacheco Rodríguez, forma parte del proyecto de investigación: “Historia del deporte villaclareño”, se enmarca dentro de las salidas al tema: historias de vida de glorias deportivas y figuras relevantes, constituye una alternativa para la impartición de la asignatura Historia del Deporte en los centros de enseñanza deportiva. La idea de escribir este trabajo responde a la necesidad de reconocer la trayectoria profesional de glorias y figuras relevantes del deporte, ha sido compartida con directivos del Instituto Nacional de Deportes Educación Física y Recreación (INDER) de la provincia de Villa Clara, especialistas de la Cultura Física y profesores que integran el proyecto de historia en la Facultad “Manuel Fajardo Rivero” de la provincia de Villa Clara, donde todos coincidieron en la aprobación de esta investigación, cuyo objetivo principal consiste en recopilar la información, para ponerla a disposición de la formación de las nuevas generaciones. Luis César Valdés Magrán, ha sabido representar a Cuba en arenas nacionales e internacionales, demostrando su preparación profesional, su dignidad, valentía y decoro, contribuyendo con su ejemplo, a mantener en alto el Deporte Revolucionario Cubano. Los presupuestos científicos-metodológicos posibilitaron reseñar lo acontecido, utilizando como herramienta la metodología de la investigación cualitativa. Los resultados obtenidos permitieron enriquecer el informe final de la investigación, además del intercambio con compañeros de equipos y de trabajo, así como directivos del INDER del municipio de Santa Clara, quienes aportaron un gran volumen de información sobre la vida del investigado. Con los resultados, se logró elaborar la presente reseña, considerada de gran importancia, por cumplir los objetivos para los cuales fue diseñada.en_US
