Resumen
La animación no es un complemento más de los productos turísticos, sino que
constituye un producto de alto valor, por lo que no debe ser considerada como parte de los componentes de otros productos ni como una simple actividad agregada La animación turística requiere de la utilización de los recursos turísticos para el desarrollo de los programas y planes, permitiendo así una valoración óptima del medio natural y del patrimonio al que pertenecen. Es el caso del Hotel Cubanacán “América” de Santa Clara, que carece de un plan recreativo a pesar de ser perfecto para desarrollar un programa de animación sociocultural aprovechando los recursos del entorno al estar situado en el Casco Histórico de la ciudad. Este trabajo propone un programa de animación que involucre a los clientes y lo realiza a través de un diagnóstico y una propuesta de solución a la ciencia que sea viable para todo tipo de cliente y que contenga en su concepción, una variedad para la atención a las edades de los clientes y sus particularidades.
El diagnóstico elaborado constituyó el antecedente del programa de actividades socioculturales para perfeccionar la gestión de la Animación Turística Hotelera, a partir de la promoción de la cultura universal, nacional y local, que se propone en esta investigación. El resultado de la investigación es el diseño de un programa de actividades socioculturales. La propuesta se valida mediante el criterio de los expertos consultados.
Entertainment in tourism is not a complementary subject within the touristic offer but a product of a great value, therefore it shouldn’t be considered neither a component of other products nor an added simple activity. Entertainment requires the use of touristic resources to develop its curriculum and syllabus leading to an optimum assessment of the natural environment and the patrimony that it belongs to. In this work we are going to refer to the Cubanacán America hotel in Santa Clara that suffers the lack of a plan for recreation although it is a perfect place to develop a socio-cultural entertainment program taking advantages of the environment as it is situated down town, a historical area of the city. In this work we propose an Entertainment program that includes the clients. it was made throughout a diagnose with a solution proposal feasible for all kinds of guests taking into account the age of the clients and their peculiarities. The created diagnose became the antecedent of the socio-cultural activities program to improve the Entertainment in hotels starting from the universal, national and local culture proposed in this investigation. The final goal of this investigation is the design of a socio-cultural activities program. The proposal is validated by means of the criteria of the consulted experts and specialists.
