Resumen
La provincia de Villa Clara ha mantenido en los últimos años un desarrollo acelerado de sus instalaciones turísticas, sin embargo la diversificación de las ofertas turísticas del destino a través del aprovechamiento de los recursos de la región y de la satisfacción de la demanda, no han estado a la par, es por ello que el objetivo general de la presente investigación consiste en diseñar un producto turístico integrado basado en el proceso de elaboración del ron, que contribuya a dicha diversificación. Para el logro de tales objetivos se analizó al turismo desde un punto de vista sistémico y la implicación de sus componentes en el desarrollo de nuevos productos. Con este fin fueron analizados varios procedimientos para el diseño de nuevos productos, seleccionando el procedimiento participativo para el diseño de productos turísticos integrados propuesto por Machado (2011). El principal valor de la presente investigación radica en que está en correspondencia con los lineamientos de la Política Económica y Social del Partido y la Revolución. El principal resultado de la investigación es el diseño de un producto auténtico y novedoso sobre la base de la integración de todos los atractivos y componentes de la zona, logrando la autenticidad y respondiendo a las demandas insatisfechas del mercado.
The province of Villa Clara has kept over the last few years a steady development of its touristic facilities, nonetheless the diversification of the touristic offers of the destiny by using the existing resources and satisfying the demand, has not been paired. Keeping in mind this situation, the main objective of the current research consist of designing an integrated touristic product based on the process of elaboration of the rum, that contributes with such diversification. In order to achieve this objective the tourism itself was analyzed from a systemic point of view, along with the implication of its main component in the developing of new products. With this purpose several procedure for designing new products were analyzed, being selected the one proposed by Machado (2011), the participative procedure for the Design of Integrated Touristic Products. The main achievement of the current investigation relays on being in correspondence with the guidelines of the Economic and Social Policy of the Party and the Revolution. The main result of this investigation is the design of an authentic and novel product that integrates all the resources and touristic attractions of the area, with authenticity and matching the unsatisfied demands of the market.
