Resumen
En el entorno competitivo en que se encuentra el sector del turismo, se hace
necesario contar con herramientas de gestión capaces de llevar al éxito las
entidades vinculadas al mismo. El plan de marketing es la herramienta básica de gestión
que debe utilizar toda empresa orientada al mercado que quiera ser competitiva según
Muñiz (2008). De ahí que se valore la posibilidad de que las empresas turísticas cuenten
con planes de marketing favoreciendo el desarrollo de la actividad comercial al constituir
una guía para la toma de decisiones. La presente investigación se sustenta en la
necesidad de una adecuada planificación de la actividad comercial para incrementar las
ventas de los productos y/o servicios que se ofertan en la Sucursal Marina Marlin S.A
Cienfuegos, mediante una propuesta de Plan de Marketing según el procedimiento
establecido por Iglesias et al. (2007).

The marketing plan is the basic tool of administration that should use all company guided to the market that it wants to be competitive according to Muñiz (2008). Therefore is very important to value the possibility that the tourist companies have marketing plans favoring the development from the commercial activity, constituting a guide for the taking of decisions. This investigation is sustained in the necessity of a good planning of the comercial activity in order to encrease the sells of the products and services offering in the Marine Marlin S.A entity, Cienfuegos through a proposal of Marketing Plan according to the procedure guided of Iglesias et al. (2007).
