Resumen
El presente trabajo de diploma se desarrolló entre los meses de septiembre de 2011 a mayo de 2012. Tiene como objetivo central, la caracterización del discurso periodístico del periódico “El Villareño” en el período 1959 -1961. El estudio se suscribe al paradigma de investigación cualitativa, en respuesta a la necesidad de realizar un análisis discursivo de los periódicos en el período señalado a los cuales fue posible el acceso. La investigación se materializó mediante el método de Análisis Crítico del Discurso (ACD), complementado con la investigación documental o bibliográfica, la entrevista en profundidad y la triangulación de fuentes y datos. Los resultados obtenidos señalan que el discurso periodístico de esta publicación estuvo en todo momento dedicado a apoyar a la Revolución. El análisis de las estructuras y las estrategias discursivas revelan que como resultado de las transformaciones acontecidas en el país por esos años, tanto el ideal social como la ideología evolucionaron de un carácter popular a un carácter socialista. Entre las estrategias discursivas más empleadas se encuentran la adjetivación positiva, el altruismo y la honestidad aparente, así como estrategias retóricas como la generalización, la hipérbole, el símil y las metáforas. También se recurrió a estrategias como la comparación negativa y la polarización.
The present thesis work was developed between September 2011 and May 2012. The main objective of this investigation is to make a caracterization of the periodistic discourse of El Villareño’s diary in the period 1959-1961. The study is subscribed to the paradigm of cualitative investigation, according to the need of performing a discoursive analysis of the newspapers of that period that were able to be found. The investigation had its manifestation by the use of the Critical Discourse Analysis method, wich was complemented with the documental or bibliographical investigation, the interview and the data and sources triangulation. The obtained results point out that the periodistical discourse of this publication, was in every moment focused in supporting tne revolution. The analysis of the discoursive’s structures and strategies revealed that as a result of the transformations that took place in the country in those years, the social ideal and the ideology evolutioned form a popular character to a socialist character. Among the most used discoursive strategies were the positive adjetivization, the apparent altruism and honesty and also retoric strategies such as the generalization, the hyperbole, the simile and the metaphor. There were used other strategies like the negative comparison and the polarization.
