Análisis comparativo de las funciones ejecutivas en adolescentes atletas de Tiro Deportivo de la provincia Villa Clara con escolares de la misma edad que no practican deportes.

Resumen
La presente investigación se realizó con el objetivo de caracterizar las funciones ejecutivas en atletas de Tiro Deportivo de la EIDE “Héctor Ruiz” de Santa Clara. La muestra quedó conformada por 50 adolescentes distribuidos en dos grupos, uno de estudio formado por 25 atletas que practican Tiro Deportivo y otro testigo integrado por 25 estudiantes con características similares que no son atletas.
La investigación fue llevada a cabo en la EIDE provincial de Villa Clara “Héctor Ruiz” y en el Centro Mixto “Tania la Guerrillera” del municipio Cifuentes en el periodo comprendido entre los meses de octubre a abril del 2012.
Para el logro del objetivo propuesto se emplearon las siguientes técnicas: entrevista psicológica inicial, historia vital, prueba de lateralidad, simultaneidad de signos, cubos de Kosh y la prueba multivariada de memoria.
El análisis de los resultados se efectuó de manera cuantitativa empleándose para el procesamiento estadístico el paquete estadístico para las Ciencias Sociales SPSS para Windows, versión 18.0, observándose diferencias en cuanto al desarrollo de las funciones ejecutivas entre los adolescentes del grupo de estudio y el grupo testigo.
La investigación demostró que la práctica de Tiro Deportivo contribuye a un mayor desarrollo de la orientación espacial y la coordinación visomotora, la flexibilidad mental y la verificación de acciones, atendiendo a las características específicas de este deporte.
Por último se ofrecen conclusiones y recomendaciones que pueden favorecer la estimulación de las funciones ejecutivas en estos escolares y servir de guía para futuras investigaciones.
The present investigation was conducted with the objective of characterizing the executive functions in athletes of the Sports target shooting School of the EIDE Hector Ruiz of St. Clara. The sample was integrated by 50 teens distributed in two groups; the study group was formed by 25 adolescents, athletes that practice Sports target shooting and the control group was integrated by 25 students with similar characteristics that are not athletes. This investigation was carried out in Villa Clara's provincial EIDE Héctor Ruiz and in the Center Mixto Tania the Guerrillera of the municipality Cifuentes in the period during the months of October to April of 2011 to 2012. In order to obtain the proposed objective the following techniques were used: Psychological initial interview, vital history, lateralidad's test, Kosh's simultaneity of signs, cubes and multi-varied test by heart. The analysis of the results was done in a quantitative manner utilizing for statistical processing, the statistical parcel for Social Sciences SPSS for Windows, version 18, 0, observing differences among the development of executive functions among the adolescents of the study group and the control group. The investigation demonstrated that Sports target shooting contributes to the major development of space orientation and the visual-motor coordination, mental flexibility and the verification of actions, attending to specific characteristics of this sport.Finally this investigation offers conclusions and recommendations that can favor the stimulation of executive functions in these students and suiting my purposes of guide for future investigations.
